Mechanic A: Heavy Equipment Mechanic

Department: Operations & Maintenance
Reports To: Shop Manager

The mechanic will take direction from the Shop Manager in the repair of heavy equipment such as trucks, loaders and like equipment.

Specific Responsibilities:

• Able to overhaul all major components, diagnose and perform all repairs without supervision.
• Maintain Repair Order records for assigned tasks.
• Work in a safe manner consistent with company policy.
• Keep your work areas clean and orderly.
• Respond and provide road service.

Requirements:

• Candidate will have a solid record of Diesel Equipment Repair including at least five (5) years experience.
• Position will require passing a federal background check for ID purposes.
• Valid driver’s license.
• 24/7 availability is required during snow season.
• All employees are subject to random drug testing.
